RE_EMBODIED

A visual storytelling project combining video dance, somatic practices, graphic design, and embodied research.

RE_EMBODIED is an experimental short film, visual storytelling, and embodied research project that combines motion graphics, editorial design, video dance, and research-based communication. Drawing from contemporary dance, somatic practices, and multimedia design, the project explores embodied metaphors, narrative structure, identity, perception, and the relationship between body and consciousness.

This interdisciplinary work is a personal quest to reclaim the unadulterated body—free from societal disguises, imposed identities, and conditioned patterns of behavior. Through a combination of dance film, print design, digital poster design, and visual communication, RE_EMBODIED examines the multiple layers of a fractured reality that obscure authentic expression and disconnect us from our embodied experience.

The project investigates how habitual physical, emotional, and mental patterns shape our perception of self and the world. By challenging these conditioned responses, RE_EMBODIED seeks to cultivate embodied mindfulness and restore a deeper connection to the body's innate wisdom, knowledge, and perceptive awareness. Utilizing contemporary forms of dance video, somatic exploration, and experimental graphic design, the work develops a visual language of embodied urgency that encourages reflection, presence, and transformation.

Through the process of stripping away external constructs and societal expectations, RE_EMBODIED becomes an exploration of self-discovery, authenticity, and reconnection—a journey toward reclaiming the body's wisdom and rekindling one's true self.
