The Problem of
“Othering”
Three posters side by side to form a triptych on the problem of “othering”. The design has been developed examining the psychology of the Us vs. Them mentality. “Othering” is a term that encompasses the many expressions of prejudice on the basis of a group identities, generating group-based inequality and marginality.
The three sets are made following each a different design approach: a surrealistic, a metaphorical and a typographical one.
